These Terms & Conditions govern your use of SatsReady, an online educational practice service designed to help children prepare for UK Key Stage 2 SATs.
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription or using SatsReady, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use SatsReady.
1. About SatsReady
SatsReady provides online practice materials and tools designed to support preparation for Key Stage 2 SATs.
SatsReady may provide:
Maths and English practice questions
Timed mock tests
Explanations of answers
Performance and progress information
Identification of areas where further practice may be useful
Targeted practice recommendations
SatsReady is a supplementary educational resource. It is not an examination board, school, tutoring service or government service, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Department for Education, Standards and Testing Agency, or any particular school or examination board.
2. Parent or Guardian Accounts
SatsReady is intended to be purchased and managed by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of a child.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
You are responsible for:
Maintaining the security of your account;
Keeping your login information confidential;
Ensuring that information provided to SatsReady is accurate; and
Supervising your child's use of the service where appropriate.
You must not share your account with other households or use another person's account without permission.
3. Subscriptions
SatsReady is provided on a subscription basis.
Current subscription options and prices are displayed on the SatsReady website and/or checkout page at the time of purchase.
Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period.
By purchasing a subscription, you authorise the applicable payment provider to charge the subscription fee at the relevant intervals.
You may cancel your subscription in accordance with the cancellation provisions below.
4. Payment
Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
SatsReady does not store your full payment card details.
The price payable will be the price displayed at the time you subscribe, subject to any applicable promotional discount or offer.
If a payment fails, access to subscription features may be suspended or restricted until the payment issue is resolved.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time.
Cancellation prevents future subscription renewals. Unless otherwise stated, you will normally retain access to the paid features until the end of the billing period for which you have already paid.
To cancel, use the subscription management facility provided by SatsReady or contact us using the details provided on the website.
6. Consumer Rights and Refunds
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
Where applicable, you may have statutory cancellation rights when purchasing digital services.
Where you expressly request that access to SatsReady begins immediately after purchase, you acknowledge that this may affect your statutory right to cancel once the digital service has been fully supplied, where permitted by law.
Our refund policy will be applied in accordance with applicable UK consumer protection law.
If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us using the details provided on the SatsReady website.
7. Educational Information and Results
SatsReady is designed to support children's preparation for SATs, but we do not guarantee any particular educational outcome, score, grade or examination result.
Practice questions, explanations, recommendations and performance assessments are provided as educational support and should not be treated as a guarantee of performance in an actual SATs assessment.
Parents and guardians remain responsible for deciding how their child uses SatsReady and whether additional educational support is appropriate.
8. AI-Generated Content
Some SatsReady practice questions, explanations or recommendations may be generated or assisted by automated or artificial intelligence systems.
We aim to provide useful, accurate and appropriate educational material, but automated systems can occasionally produce errors or content that is imperfect.
SatsReady does not guarantee that every generated question or explanation will be completely error-free.
If you identify an incorrect, inappropriate or confusing question, please contact us so that it can be reviewed.
9. Appropriate Use
You agree to use SatsReady only for lawful and appropriate purposes.
You must not:
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to SatsReady or another user's account;
Interfere with or disrupt the service;
Copy, reproduce or commercially exploit SatsReady content without permission;
Attempt to reverse engineer or circumvent security features;
Use automated systems to scrape or systematically reproduce SatsReady content; or
Use SatsReady in a way that could damage the service or other users.
10. Intellectual Property
SatsReady and its associated software, branding, logos, design, original content and materials are owned by or licensed to SatsReady and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Your subscription gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use SatsReady for its intended educational purpose.
You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell or commercially exploit SatsReady content without our prior written permission.
11. Children's Use of SatsReady
SatsReady is designed to be used by children under the supervision and responsibility of their parent or legal guardian.
Parents and guardians are responsible for deciding whether SatsReady is suitable for their child and for supervising their child's use of the service where appropriate.
SatsReady does not require children to create independent accounts or provide payment information.
Information relating to children is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Data & Safeguarding Policy.
12. Privacy and Data Protection
We take the protection of personal information seriously.

By using SatsReady, you acknowledge that your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Availability of the Service
We aim to keep SatsReady available and functioning reliably, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
The service may occasionally be unavailable because of:
Maintenance;
Technical problems;
Updates;
Third-party service interruptions; or
Circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where reasonably possible, we will seek to restore the service as soon as practicable.
14. Third-Party Services
SatsReady may rely on third-party services to provide certain aspects of the platform, including payment processing, hosting, authentication, analytics and other technical services.
Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
We will identify relevant third-party processing in our Privacy Policy where required.
15. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Subject to this, SatsReady will not be responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable arising from your use of the service.
SatsReady does not guarantee any particular SATs result or educational outcome.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
16. Changes to SatsReady
We may occasionally update, improve or modify SatsReady, including its features, content and functionality.
We may also update these Terms from time to time.
Where changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to notify users.
Your continued use of SatsReady after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary, including where:
These Terms have been materially breached;
The service is being misused;
Fraudulent activity is suspected; or
Continued access creates a security or operational risk.
Where appropriate, we will provide reasonable notice before termination.
Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable consumer law provides otherwise.
By creating an account or purchasing a SatsReady subscription, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions
